Worship

Experience God’s love at Wilton Congregational Church.

In Person

9:30 am Sundays

Each Sunday, we gather in our historic sanctuary for worship that engages body, heart, and mind. Musical offerings uplift us. Scripture readings and thought-provoking sermons help us better understand our lives as Christians in a complex world. Prayer, together as a community – for those we love and those we will never know – sustains us.

Communion

Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month. Ours is an open table – all are welcome.

Parking

We try to keep the two lots right next to the church available for our visitors and those with mobility challenges. Our biggest parking lots are not immediately visible, so this is a particularly good question! The Wilton Playshop Parking Lot is a few yards down Lovers Lane; take the driveway just to the right of the Playshop building, and then walk back up to the church. The Old Town Hall Parking Lot is located just off Belden Hill Road, at 2 Belden Hill Lane. The lot is behind Old Town Hall. Walk down the walkway to the left of Old Town Hall, cross Ridgefield Road (carefully!) and go right into the front doors of the church.

Come visit our services as often as you like

If you’d like more information, you’re always welcome to have a conversation with one of our co-pastors. You can reach Rev. Suzanne Wagner at Email or Rev. Caroline Ainsworth Hughes at Email or you can call the church office at 203-762-5591.

Online

If you’d rather participate in the worship service online instead of in person, you can join our YouTube livestream on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. or watch the service later. Either way, find us on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/@wiltoncongregationalchurch8911/streams

Music

Sunday mornings are filled with song! Our worship soars with music of all kinds – from traditional hymns to contemporary Christian songs, from the glorious organ to rockin’ guitar riffs. All ages, from kids to seniors, take part in our church music. On any given Sunday, you might hear the mighty organ, you might hear bluegrass violin, you might hear handbells. We hope you’ll join us for the happy sound of making a joyful noise to the Lord.

Church School

Our church school is a community all its own! Classes introduce our youngest worshippers to the great love God has for them through story, art, games, and play. We provide a nurturing environment where children experience God’s unconditional love while participating in the life of the church. On Sunday mornings, children in grades K-5 have a time to worship alongside their families, and then are invited to head to Church School to continue to learn and grow with age-appropriate classes. Middle school and high school students serve as volunteers in our classrooms or remain in worship for the duration of the service.

We like to register children for Church School or any other children’s/youth programming at Wilton Congregational Church – through registration, we learn about any allergies, how to contact you, and other health/safety information. Click here for the registration form.
