Sunday Worship Times
Traditional Service 9:30 AM
Each Sunday, we gather at God’s house for worship that engages body, heart and mind. While traditional, our Sunday worship service is alive with contemporary relevance. Melodies from around the world mingle with beloved hymns in musical programs that inspire and move us. Scripture readings and thought-provoking sermons draw us closer to the Lord, helping us better understand our lives as Christians in a pluralistic world.
Together, we pray for those we love and those we will never know, confident that God’s caring hand is upon them. As sunlight streams through the windows of this historic sanctuary, we recall our responsibility to the world beyond these walls, and scatter to share God’s love with all.
Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month for all who wish to know the Christ within and around them. Ours is an open table at which all are welcome.
Worship Band Service 11:00 AM
Wilton’s oldest church is leading the way forward with a revolutionary new weekly 11:00 AM Worship Band service for those who prefer great local music, casual clothing, and family-relevant programs. If upbeat rhythms and blue jeans are more your worship style, then come join us at 11:00 AM each Sunday. An eclectic blend of modern musical styles performed by WCC’s talented band gets everyone singing —from bluegrass to rock, gospel to pop, funk to jazzed-up hymns. The atmosphere is decidedly casual and electrically charged, a lively alternative for those seeking an informal yet deeply meaningful worship experience. A refuge to work out the dynamics of living, the Sunday Worship Band Service offers relevant Scripture lessons, inspirational sermons, and powerful group prayer that bring us closer to God.
Coffee Hour 10:30 AM
Fellowship is a meaningful part of our time together on Sunday mornings, an opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Coffee Hour, which is held in Pilgrim Hall following the 9:30 AM worship service, gives us a chance to refuel with tempting treats and beverages while enjoying one another’s company. It is a time of laughter and warm conversation shared by our church family—from the very youngest to the wisest of elders.
