Rev. Dr. Anne Coffman
Rev. Anne was born in Lexington, Kentucky and grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. As an expert in churches in transition and church growth for much of her ministry, she has served in variety of roles in many churches in Fairfield County.
Anne is a trained musician and spiritual director. She likes to say, “Music is a window into our souls. It helps us see into our spiritual centers, and through music we can project outward what we cannot otherwise express.”
She is married to Paul Schmidt who is a former partner with Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young, and now works for News America Marketing in Wilton. Paul has been the organist and choir director in a number of churches. They are the parents of three sons and they have seven grandchildren.
Director of Music Ministry
Eugene is a skilled choral conductor, pianist, and organist. He has served as Music Director in a variety of churches in the New York metropolitan area, most recently as the interim Music Director at Round Hill Community Church in Greenwich, CT. Eugene has also been the Music Director and Conductor of the Hudson Valley Singers since 1998. For nine years until 2008, he was the Assistant Chorus Master of the Metropolitan Opera in New York. A native Russian, Eugene received his Masters in Choral Conducting and Organ from the St. Petersburg Conservatory, in St. Petersburg. Since coming to the United States in the 1990's, he has also studied organ performance at Oberlin College and Orchestral Conducting at Mannes College in New York City. Although he is classically trained, Eugene loves and is comfortable with all types of music. He has played keyboard in many bands and he is looking forward to participating in our Soul Celebration worship. Eugene lives with his wife and two young sons in Manhattan. He is a man of deep faith who loves making music with people of all ages.
Director of Christian Formation
Lydia works with the children, youth, and families of WCC to provide opportunities for spiritual formation and fellowship. Lydia has a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University Chicago, where she majored in Theology and History and minored in Pastoral Leadership. She earned her Master of Divinity from the University of Chicago and is currently pursuing ordination through the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago. Lydia lives in New Haven with her wife and dog.
Pamela’s contributions to WCC are many. As Executive Administrator, she oversees the numerous details inherent in the smooth operation of the church’s landmark 1790 sanctuary, building complex, historic parsonage and grounds. Pamela strives to implement environmentally sustainable best practices within our church. A cornerstone of Wilton life, WCC is home to many town gatherings—all of which she capably oversees. Under her watchful eye, the church remains a vital, well-appointed hub of religious and community activity. Additionally, Pamela manages the operation of the tranquil and bucolic Hillside Cemetery, including its maintenance, perpetual care, gravesite and cremation memorial garden sales, burials and publicity.
Coleen is responsible for day to day office operations and providing administrative support to the Senior Minister, professional staff, and Boards and Committees. Coleen is hard working, punctual and detail-oriented with experience in marketing, events and support. Her warm and welcoming voice brings a smile to anyone’s face in person or on the phone. She has worked in the Wilton community for over ten years. Coleen and her husband moved to Wilton in 2014 with their two daughters. She loves spending time with her family.
Kenny is a long time resident of Wilton and graduate of Wilton High School. With extensive construction/maintenance experience from many years working for Mercer Builders, Kenny has a pre-existing relationship and familiarity with both the town and most importantly WCC. He can fix, clean and help out with just about anything. Kenny also brings to our church community experience and knowledge of music and music production.
