Welcome to Wilton Congregational Children’s Church!  We are happy to have you and we take our responsibility of sowing in to the lives of children seriously.  We strive to provide a safe learning environment for children and build a close-knit community for parents and families to bond, learn, and grow together in our faith.  Our mission is to teach children God’s Word through creative curriculum and engaging lessons, helping them build a firm foundation of faith that will last them all the days of their lives.

“Train up a child in the way he shall go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” ~Proverbs 22:6

Crib Room (Babies through age 3)

Wilton Congregational Church’s nursery workers welcome babies and toddlers to a warm, nurturing environment where they can laugh, play, learn and develop friendships.  Children will learn about God’s great love for them through songs, crafts and engaging, interactive lessons.  We aim to provide a safe space for children to grow and a fun atmosphere that will leave them wanting to come back for more!

Children’s Church (Preschool through 5th Grade)

Students in preschool through 5th grade will learn about God’s great love for them through exciting lessons, lively songs, fun games and a unique program that offers students of all backgrounds and abilities an opportunity to develop their faith and build relationships within their church community.  Our goal is to focus on relationships with the kids, which, in turn, will strengthen their relationship with God through group discussions, and Bible verse memorization through games and weekly prayer.

Classes meet as follows: Preschool and Kindergarten in room L9, 1st and 2nd in the Menson room and 3rd through 5th grade in the Lamplighters room (L6).  On the fifth Sunday of the month, all students come together for a special time of praise and worship in the Menson Room for “Super Church.”  The children enjoy puppets, interactive songs, skits, Bible stories, games, snacks and other fun and exciting activities designed just for kids.  Teachers give students the opportunity to pray for their families, those in need and for the community.

We hope students and families leave church inspired to discover more about God’s love throughout the week.  Our team is dedicated to partnering with parents and families to find ways to take what your child learns at church, and turn it into everyday conversations around the dinner table and throughout your week.
