Faith is an awe-inspiring adventure! High-energy, impactful and hands-on, our programs engage youth in God’s world guided by God’s word. Teens come to know the Bible as a relevant, dynamic guide for navigating life’s ups and downs. They discover what it means to be a child of God—and why it matters. Working side-by-side, they forge friendships, learn to value one another, and change lives one plate of meatloaf, one adobe clay brick, one kind word at a time.

Middle School Programs

Friday Night Live is an evening of high-spirited and spirit-filled fun! Middle schoolers enjoy dinner and group bonding activities that teach trust, acceptance, honesty and love. Biblical lessons and meaningful discussions explore issues that teens face—school and home life, friends and bullies, insecurity and confidence, and life’s daily stresses—from a Christian perspective. The group also shares its spiritual gifts outside of the church by collaborating on community service projects. Friday Night Live meets in the Youth Room from 6:00-9:00 PM twice a month. Check out our calendar for the next meeting date.

Sunday School classes are held throughout the school year during the 10:00 AM worship service. Together, teens delve into the Bible and examine their Christian faith and its relevancy in today’s world. Probing questions such as, “What exactly does it mean to be a servant of Christ?” and “Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people” are explored, helping students deepen their relationship with God. Amidst the dialogue and laughter, strong friendships built on respect, honesty and acceptance develop, the kind that last.

Just for the Fun of It, the middle school youth group heads out on excursions that promise laughter, friendship and adventure. When winter snows fall, experienced skiers and beginners alike hit the slopes until warmer weather beckons them to the mini-golf range. Ever-popular bowling and movie nights are topped only by outings to local amusement parks. Have a great idea for an awesome group activity? Check our calendar for upcoming events and dates.

All Middle School Programs are lead by Director of Youth Ministries and adult supervisors in a fun, safe and respectful environment. Friends are always welcome, so bring yours along!
