worship_placeforall_01Wherever you are on your faith journey, you’re welcome here. Our pews are home to fourth-generation Congregationalists and first-time forayers into religion. The energy that infuses our services is palpable; you’ll feel it in the music, recognize it in the sermons, see it in the faces of those around you. Alive with Christ’s love in a real-world context, WCC is a place where religion and relevance converge.

A Place for All

Visiting a new church can be intimidating. We know because we’ve been there. So, we make every effort to make sure that you feel at home the moment you walk through our doors. A vibrantly growing church, you’ll meet people of all ages and stages of life; kids dressed in soccer uniforms, people in jeans, elders in their “Sunday best.”  You’ll quickly find that our focus is on God not garb.

Understanding that worship is not one-size-fits-all, we offer a variety of ways to connect with the Lord. From traditional Sunday services at 9:30 AM each Sunday to the contemporary worship band services at 11:00 AM each Sunday, WCC meets you where you are. Greeters and ushers welcome you when you arrive and will help you find a comfortable seat. You’ll receive a Sunday Bulletin outlining the service making it easy to follow along. Special audio devices are also available for those with hearing loss—just let an usher know that you’d like one.

Our youngest members can sleep, cuddle or play in our nursery while you experience worship in our beautiful, open Sanctuary.  Of course, your child is always welcome to stay with you throughout the service in the Sanctuary as well. Children in Kindergarten through eighth grade share the first 15 minutes of worship with their families in the Sanctuary before gathering at the front of the church for the Children’s Message. They then head off with their friends to Children’s Church or Middle School Sunday School. After the service, parents meet their children in their classrooms to sign them out and then go upstairs to Pilgrim Hall with the rest of our church family for refreshments and lively fellowship.
